Robert E. Taylor, A.I.A.
Architect and General Contractor with more than 40 years in the Industry, Bob Taylor is a designer of churches, schools, banks, commercial buildings, residences, master plans, parks and recreation projects. Bob is also nationally recognized in the Field of Restoration/Rehabilitation by the Florida Trust for Historic Preservation.
NCARB Certified, a registerea Architect in Florida and Georgia and a State Certified General Contractor with construction knowledge developed through attention to detail and conscientious oversight of all of the firm projects. In 1970, Bob graduated from University of Florida as a Member of the Gargoyle Honor Society.
Bob is enthusiastic about BIM technology and its application to the built environment. HIs work product as a LEED applicant demonstrates sensitivity to “green” construction, the environment and energy conservation. Proficient in computer-aided design and drafting (CADD) software and tools, Mr. Taylor is meticulous and knowledgeable about ordinances such as zoning laws, building codes and fire regulations and that structures must be handicapped-accessible. He is knowledgeable in the broad realm of construction, i.e., proper materials selection, appropriateness for longevity, scale, color and beauty.

Senior Project Manager
Johanna Amber is project manager for the firm who must ensure that construction projects meet environmental, safety, structural, zoning and aesthetic standards. They determine and schedule different stages of the building process according to client needs. During construction site visits, Ms. Amber monitors progress and ascertains whether phases of the construction process are in compliance with building plans and project deadlines.
Ms. Amber is also an architectural draftsperson; she works closely with architect Robert E. Taylor to provide designs, sketches, plans and analysis of design projects. She is trained in appropriate computer-aided drafting design (CADD) techniques and programs so that she can provide detailed drawings and documentation for projects.
Leisure time activities include sailing with her husband and spending time with their five children and nine grandchildren.
Dan Sheffield ia Field Observer/Superintendent for the RET firms. His oversight includes on-site leadership for reporting and coordination of subcontract work on schools, financial institutions, faith-based and city/county/federal construction projects, and custom residential projects including additions, renovations and new construction.
Mr. Sheffield brings extensive experience in construction and municipal code. An entrepreneur in Putnam County, Mr. Sheffield was CEO of his general contracting corporation and served the community as the appointed Chairman of the City of Palatka Planning Board (2011-2016).
Mr. Sheffield is a skilled wood working craftsman and enjoys designing and building fine furniture from native wood.
